Admission in Engineering & Technology Program - Diploma Courses

Admission in 3yrs Diploma Program is done through Combined Test conducted by Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association (BPTPIA). The admission process starts usually from the month of April every year and Entrance Test is conducted in the month of May – June. The date and other details are uploaded as per the decision of BPTPIA every year.

The entrance test is of objective type based questions of two hours durations. The syllabus for the test is on the basis of 10th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry & Math.

Admission in Engineering & Technology Program - B.Tech. Courses

Admission in 4yrs B.Tech. Program is done through Combined Test conducted by Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association (BPTPIA). Admission in Post Graduate - Master of Computer Application (MCA) Program

Admission in 2yrs MCA Program is done through Marks Basis at the Under Graduate Level.The Admission process starts from the month of May.

Academic Eligibility Criteria for Diploma Courses in Engineering & Technology Program
Duration - 3 years

Passed 10th Std./SSC Examination

Academic Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech. Course in Engineering & Technology Program
Duration - 4 years

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three)

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme.)

Academic Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) to second year
Duration - 3 years

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Academic Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate - Master of Computer Application (MCA) Program
Duration - 2 years

Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. / B. Voc. / BCA etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination shall be eligible to apply for admission to MCA Course.
